Best All in One Desktop Computer 2012-2013
Windows 8 is stirring quite a revolution in the tech world and not only because people are intensely debating whether it’s good or not but because laptops and desktops have been created and marketed as Windows 8 operating devices so I guess it’s high time I go on that road and establish which is the best all in one desktop computer with Windows 8.
As always, I’m not interested about the pre-installed operating system with which the product is delivered because if users don’t like it they can go back to Windows 7 64-bit, for example. I am interested in seeing the improvements, the updates, the innovations, and of course the price. All the presented models are newly launched so I expect a spike in prices for the newly best all in one desktop computer. However, I want to see if the high prices come from excellent quality and from manufacturers’ concern about the customers’ needs.

I am truly excited when it comes to newly launched products that make the electronic world better as years pass so let’s see if my excitement will be preserved at high levels. One thing to be kept in mind by everyone is that even if Windows 8 is not perfect and maybe not all readers will find the touch screen as an interesting and practical addition, all these are innovations and they deserve to be studied and debated.

Sony Vaio Tap 20 Sony brings a product that can be also called a hybrid due to its semi-portability, being the only one as well that has a battery incorporated (you can even keep it in your lap for some good hours, 3/4 hours, without feeling uncomfortable). It’s the lightest from the entire article while still being satisfyingly powerful. Check price at Amazon
Samsung Series 7 DP700A3B-A02US - Samsung has a well-equipped product to battle this title for a best all in one PC and it will be a winner especially for those who are somehow on a budget. Even though it wasn’t initially created for Windows 8, it has a touchscreen which makes it perfect for this touch-based operating system. Check price at Amazon
Vizio CA24T-A4 – Vizio is probably one of the most beautiful models, thinness and great design is what describes it best plus a touch pad instead of a mouse. Check price at Amazon
HP SpectreOne AiO PC - and the last model from this price range, the HP product is this manufacturer’s obvious intent to keep up with the competition and to offer interested customers a great alternative. Even though it’s the only product that doesn’t incorporate a touch display it might be also an advantage for those who are not ready to get accustomed to a large touch panel, while reaching for a high-end all in one device. Asus ET2300INTI - Asus is not as thin as some people would expect but that is only due to the fact that it can be equipped with absolutely everything, most of the technical specifications are at the customer’s choice from CPU i5/i7 to GPU memory, to WiDi, and Thunderbolt ports. If you want a perfect correlation between price, quality, and performance then Asus is one of the best choices. Check price at Amazon
Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 – Lenovo and Dell are battling the title for the best 27-inch desktop and due to the really impressive resolution, the latter manufacturer wins. It’s also the obvious reason for being the most expensive model. Those who have the appropriate high budget will simply love the XPS One 27. Check price at Amazon
Dell XPS One 27 - This is the most impressive model in the all in one desktops market in what regards quality as well as price. Check price at Amazon

Hi ther,
re: the ET2300INTI. I can not find i7 specs anywhere. On the ASUS website they only have it listed as an I5.
Intel® Core™ i7-3770 (8M Cache, 3.4 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz)
Intel® Core™ i5-3330 (6M Cache, 3.0 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz)
Intel® Core™ i3-3220 (3M Cache, 3.3 GHz)
However it’s nowhere to be bought. until now I only saw the i5 combined with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD but that’s not available at the moment either. but they should release the i7 alternative since their is on the Asus website with 8GB RAM and maybe 2TB HDD, max storage space. the rest of the specs remains the same.
