Asus ET2300INTI Best All In One Desktop Review 2013
Asus ET2300INTI it’s so flexible that at one point it can look like a beautiful giant tablet and this is the first thing I have noticed while preparing to write this review. After reading the specifications you will become convinced that this is one of the best choices on the market and it will remain so for quite some time. So we are talking about long-time partnership.
The price for the ET2300INTI-B022K fluctuates, as it is in the case of most models. It’s mostly influenced by buyers, by the technical specifications they choose to add. In this review I am going to present to readers which are the available options.
The 23 inches IPS LED backlit touch display Full HD (1080p) resolution with excellent viewing angles is the wonderful component with which the manufacturer pleasantly impresses the viewer. The screen is multi touch (10 fingers touch). The Asus ET2300 is quite thick unlike the Vizio CA24T-A4, to make a comparison. The thickness stems from the fact that it’s more powerful, equipped with high-end hardware, and it covers all range of activities.
When it comes to incorporated Processor there are 3 options:
- either 3rd generation Quad-Core i7-3770 that is immensely powerful with 3.4GHz core speed, 3.9GHz on Turbo mode, and 8MB L3 cache,
- or 2nd generation Quad-Core i5-3330 quite powerful as well with 3.0GHz, up to 3.2GHz overclocking, and 6MB L3 cache
- or the milder 2nd generation Dual-Core i3-3220 CPU with 3.3GHz clockspeed, no Turbo option available, and 3MB L3 cache.
In my opinion, each of the three options is a powerful processor and a strong starting point for a high-end all in one.
The graphics card for the Asus ET2300INTI is Nvidia GT 630M with 1GB or 2GB DDR3 video memory which is not quite powerful given that it doesn’t feature a GDDR5 memory but paired with the i7-3770 it will allow you to play most of the DirectX 11 games. And it supports 3D vision as well. Check Price at Amazon
The options in regards to the incorporated memory are two: 4GB up to 8GB DDR3 RAM 1600MHz. The internal storage starts at 500GB and can go as much as 2TB 7200RPM HDD.
Additional features include: 2MP camera, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and as optional Intel Wireless Display (WiDi). Actually, the Intel Wireless Display technology, even though it’s optional (higher price range) it’s one of the strongest points for the Asus ET2300INTI but only for those who are used to this technology. Otherwise, paying extra might not turn out to be too advantageous in the future for some of you.
The second advantage is represented by the 2 Thunderbolt ports which are as well optional. This option, Thunderbolt ports, is often encountered at iMacs and offers amazingly fast speed for data transfers. Other included connectors are: HDMI in and out, headset & microphone jacks, 1 e-SATA port, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 RJ45 LAN port, 3-in-1 card reader, 1 Subwoofer jack, and Dual-layer DVD burner as optical drive.
Given that this Asus ET2300INTI has 4 internal speakers, 1.5W each, a subwoofer will nicely complete a great audio system because the 4 integrated speakers alone will not deliver the depth that only a subwoofer is capable of.
